Please welcome Luna to our rescue. This girl sure has had a journey. She was picked up as a stray in the Miami area by amazing people who saved her from a busy intersection. They noticed Luna was not putting weight on her front paw, so they took her to the vet immediately and did radiographs. They found out she had a broken front paw. Her previous owners were found and stated Luna kept escaping and that it was best to find her a forever family, and they happily signed to surrender her over to our rescue to ensure she gets a good home.

UPDATE: Luna underwent emergency surgery to fix her paw and luckily all went extremely well. We were able to save her leg and she had her first follow up appointment where the orthopedic surgeon said it is healing well! Luna is starting to put some weight on her leg, which means she is feeling better and stronger! She is very dog friendly, she has well manners, she is potty trained, and she knows her basic commands. Luna loves to cuddle up next to you and she loves to get attention. She is a very good girl who has a lot of love to give!

Our pretty girl Luna is cleared to be adopted! This little girl is such a warrior, we saved her after she was hit by a car and suffered from a broken paw. Well, now she is fully recovered from her surgery and rehab and she ready for a forever family of her own! Luna is a young girl around 1-2 years old and she is a total sweetheart. She absolutely loves people and she is super playful! Luna is dog friendly but she does get intimidated with dogs that are larger than her! Luna does well with dogs her size and she is good with small dogs! Luna loves people more than other dogs, so she would do great as a solo husky! Luna loves to play fetch and she enjoys snuggling up next to her humans. She is well mannered, she knows her basic commands, and she completely potty trained! Luna is great in the car, so she would make the perfect adventure companion. She is non-destructive and she is overall just a really great girl! Luna is also amazing with kids. She is very obedient and once she is walked, she can be very chill throughout the day. Luna MUST go to a home with a fenced in backyard. Luna has been through a lot but you’d never know she has a bad past.
