Gaisha, Tundra and Spirits Place was founded by Natalie Lucia in 2014 after the passing of her 3 Siberian Huskies, Gaisha, Tundra and Spirit.

GTS has quickly grown from a “pet project” to help a handful of huskies find a forever home to a true passion for saving countless dogs lives.  GTS started saving dogs in March of 2014 and by August of the same year, GTS purchased a 2-acre ranch in Jupiter Farms to act as a haven for up to 30 dogs to live and be cared for while GTS works to find them suitable fosters and adopters. The ranch has been closed for a couple years now, and we have transitioned to a foster based rescue. Unfortunately, due to the impacts of COVID, the ranch was sunset and we transitioned to an all-foster-based model. Our fosters are located throughout South Florida. Please note, we can only take in new dogs when we have a foster home lined up. This has sadly made us refocus our mission to saving at risk shelter dogs in need when we have the space and we are typically on a long waitlist for owner surrenders. The epidemic of husky abandonment has increased more than ever and we cannot keep up with how many surrender requests we get a week. We would be happy to provide any help or recommendations so you can keep your dog you are considering to surrender. We are a small non for profit and we need your support now more than ever.

Since GTS was founded in 2014 over 400 dog’s lives have been saved.
