Willow

Willow previously known as Meadow sadly made her way back to our rescue after 2 years at no fault of her own. Her adopter had a hardship and had to move out of her house and sadly could not take Willow with her. She is currently at an amazing husky experienced foster and they are also experienced with with skittish foster dogs. Willow has two GTS foster rescues as her foster siblings, Sugar & Piper, who both came to us from a confiscating two separate hoarding and breeding situations. They used to be shy and shut down like Willow but they have come a long way in their confidence so she is in the perfect foster home. Willow LOVES Piper & Sugar and having other huskies in the home give Willow a lot of comfort. She is great with other dogs and loves to play.

Willow needs a home who understands she takes a few days to a few months to fully feel at ease and comfortable adjusting to a new home! The 333 rule is a must for miss Willow. Once she bonds with you she becomes a big zelcro dog. She is well behaved, non destructive, potty trained, and she has a submissive personality. Willow can create a bond but she definitely needs a home who will go slow with her.

Willow MUST go to a home with a 6ft backyard! Willow needs an extremely patient husky experienced home and she MUST go to a home with other dogs. We are letting her decompress and going to continue to help build her confidence with people. Our fosters are doing a great job on working with her socialization but she definitely needs a home who can continue to help her build confidence.

We are finally able to introduce little Meadow to our rescue! This sweet little 8 week old had been through a lot at such a young age. In a gated in Coral Gables people spotted a dumped husky puppy hiding the brushes and our volunteers stepped up right away. Meadow is extremely skittish and terrified of people. Other dogs give her comfort but we are working on human socialization and creating a positive relationship with humans.
